Seems my para couldn't talk to thackeray because she had missed one or two of the conversations. When I teamed up with somebody who hadn't seen any conversations but who had finished eotn thackeray talked to me.

After going through all the dialogues between Gwen+Thackeray, you need to talk to Thackeray outside EotN in Ice Cliff Chasms and talk to him about the candles.

Then you go to Munne in Sardelac.

I had no problem getting the candles and my char is a Necro.

Yes you have to make sure you sit through all of the conversations between Gwen and Thackery up until he talks about the picnic. Then, you follow him outside and he asks for candles, but doesn't know who you can get them from. THEN, and ONLY THEN can you go to Necromancer Munne and get 6 candles for 3 honeycombs.

I got his 4 packages and got:
Armor of salvation
3 chittinous summoning stones
deldrimor armor remnant
5 diessa chalices.

For those necros out there apparently having trouble getting candles.....you don't need to visit Munne on each individual character. You can pick up multiple sets of candles on one character. Simply give her the honeycombs for one set, and then put the candles in storage....you can then talk to her again on the same character if you have 3 or more honeycombs still in your inventory. Simply get as many sets of candles as you need in storage, and they can be used by any other character that has successfully triggered Thackeray's appearance outside the EoTN outpost.

35 Paper Wrapped Parcels so far. 2 consets, a few perfect salvage kits, a ton of summoning stones, hero armor upgrades and eotn collectibles (d-cores, g-stones, d-chalices, g.r. relics).

Hardest part? Sitting through the 6 conversations on 11 characters.........

Now I need to farm 9 more chunks of drake flesh...

easter ends on sunday
egg farming ends on sunday

can anyone confirm if the scavenger hunt ends on sunday? i'm a little torn right now

I'll continue to work on the list...for some reason you can only give him 2 candy items and 2 drinks...odd

Although it says candies and gifts cannot be traded...one can drop them in exporable areas to transfer from one character to another....if wanted.

And you can put them in storage of course (to transfer candles picked up by one char to another).

If you mean the "cant be sold" in the wiki, i think that means to the merchant, i traded gifts earlier with people.

Ways to get Honeycombs:

- 10, as a random drop for opening a Gift of the Traveler, from Nicholas the Traveler
- 5, as a random drop for opening a Gift of the Huntsman, from Nicholas Sandford in pre-searing Regent Valley
- 3, as a reward for completing A Hunter's Pride
- 1, in exchange for 8 Stone Grawl Necklaces, from Collector Galton Franks in southwestern Sacnoth Valley

I go into HOM with my 2 accounts, both have finished Prophecies and EOTN. 1st toon finished both Proph and EOTN, the 2nd toon finished neither and has done no EOTN missions.

When I enter HOM with the 2nd toon as the party leader, Thackeray does not appear. When I enter HOM with the 1st toon as party leader, he appears.

I've also done the same with a character who isn't level 20 and hasn't finished any campaigns and got the dialogue and rewards.

Can someone confirm that only characters that have completed the Wintersday Quests from last Wintersday can do this Thackeray scavenger hunt thing? This is mentioned in another forum.
